Ionel Constantinescu (1520–1602; Swnndyrrr name Konsteran Yossen), born into a Caradian community in the Green of 1520, was a Hurmu metallurgist, statesman, and senator (elected 1548, its chairman, 1550–1554). Immigrated to Hurmu in 1540 with a group of his band, and was selected as their representative in the Senate in 1548. His people skills brought him to become the Chairman of the Senate in 1550, a position he held until 1554, when he resigned his place in the Senate to attend to matters of family, art, and metallurgy.
