The name Van der Sluijs was adopted upon Oroigawa Koreyasu's migration to [[Absentia]], where he, for purposes of cultural assimilation, poetically translated his surname to [[Batavia]]n. The line traces its lineage to [[Kaiser Raynor I]] only through [[Gilrean Treebane]] (herself belonging to the [[Line of Grifos]], making [[Kaiser Reynardine I]] technically a [[Sanglorian]] kaiser.

The Imperial Line of Van der Sluijs also known as the Van der Sluijs family and the House of Oroigawa (疎癒川) is a Shirerithian family and Imperial Bloodline, and is an offshoot of the Imperial Bloodline of Grifos.

The name Van der Sluijs was adopted upon Oroigawa Koreyasu's migration to Absentia, where he, for purposes of local cultural assimilation, poetically translated his surname to Batavian.
