The Vegnese Lega A (Vegnese League A), known also as "NSC Lega A" for sponsorship reason, is a men's professional soccer league sanctioned by the Federazione Calcistica del Vegno (Vegnese Football Federation, known as FCV), which represents the sport's highest and only level in the Republic of Vegno.
It was founded in 1705 AN and has the participation of eight registered teams.
Competition Format
The Vegnese F.L. regular season typically starts in late September to late May with each team playing the others 2 times, for a total of 30 games. Teams receive three points for a win and one point for a draw and are ranked by total points, then direct confrontation, then goal difference, and then goals scored.
The team with the best record at the end of the season is awarded with the title of Campione del Vegno (Vegnese Champion).
The First Particular Season (2022)
The first season is set to take place in March to late May 2022, with the teams playing only twice with the others, because of the Founding of the Republic. Other seasons otherwise will take place as the normal format.
The first-ever Vegnese championship was won by AS Virtus Glovetese, one match before the end of the league.
