The Micrasian Biohazard Research Institute is a branch of the New Zimian Space Exploration and Settlement Agency which is responsible for identifying and investigating infectious diseases around the world. The institute often works together with the Jingdaoese Unit 666, which does similar research but does not publish its results.

High Bacterial Resistance Northern Corum
  1. Tja Fever is believed to have contributed to the decline and ultimate collapse in of nations in northern Corum in the 26.80's PSSC [1].
  2. In 31.55 PSSC, Queen Evahn was infected with Tja Fever by a Kralian spy with whom the queen had been acquainted after ignoring warnings from central Corumian sleep cultists [2]. Evahn's survival of the illness is believed to be evidence of her divine status [3].
  3. Several hundred cases of Tja Fever were reported in early 35 PSSC [4].
  4. A possible outbreak of Tja Fever was reported by Bassarid forces stationed in northwestern Corum around the turn of the 37th era PSSC.

Ziebev's Disease Zíebev's Disease is a parasitic infection which is initially spread through the bite of an infected Noctic Vampire. Once transmitted through the bite of a Noctic Vampire, the infection can be spread throughout the general population through exposure to bodily fluids such as blood and saliva. 43.81 PSSC

  1. Exposure to the saliva of a Noctic Vampire
  2. Exposure to the bodily fluids of an infected person.

  1. The first known outbreak of Zíebev's Disease occurred in the mid 43rd era PSSC, in the central Keltian city of Vaeringheim. The outbreak of the illness prompted a military response, spearheaded by the Vaeringheim Army of the New Zimian War League.

Noctic Vampirism Noctic Vampirism is a type of mimic-vampirism which is caused by the prolonged ingestion of small to large amounts of raw Noctic-Rabrev leaves. 37.65 PSSC

Mild Symptoms resulting from limited ingestion of Noctic-Rabrev leaves may include:

  1. Sneezing
  2. Rash
  3. Sweating
  4. Nausea
  5. Light Sensitivity

More serious symptoms resulting from significant ingestion of Noctic leaves may include:

  1. Fever
  2. Insomnia
  3. Anemia
  4. Bloodlust
  5. Euphoria

Note: Children born with Noctic Vampirism may experience these symptoms without consuming Noctic-Rabrev leaves.

Severe symptoms resulting from the ingestion of very large amounts of Noctic leaves may include:

  1. Disease Immunity
  2. Skin Lesions
  3. Hemophilia
  4. Necrosis
  5. Internal Hemorrhaging
  6. Hemorrhagic Shock
  7. Death
  1. Noctic Vampirism is transmitted through the leaves of the Noctic-Rabrev. The disease may be also be passed from mother to infant during pregnancy, especially if the mother becomes infected during the third trimester. While those infected through the consumption of Noctic leaves may generally be cured of the disease by removing the leaves from their diet, there is no known cure for children born with the disease.
  2. While Noctic Vampirism cannot generally be transmitted through saliva or blood, exposure to the bodily fluids of a person infected with the disease can result in extremely vivid dreams and nightmares, and terrifying night time hallucinations and visions. In rare situations, individuals experiencing these visions may unknowingly attempt to consume blood and other bodily fluids, despite having no compulsion or desire to do so while awake. Such individuals are known to report and demonstrate symptoms of severe trauma.
  3. In the mid-43rd era PSSC, it was discovered that individuals infected with Noctic-Vampirism may, in rare case, spread the parasitic infection known as Valentine's Disease.
N/A Altholugh Noctic Vampirism is most widely documented in the region surrounding Lake Morovia, in central Keltia, the disease poses a significant concern across much of Bassaridia, where trans-continental trade has contributed to the rapid expansion of the Noctic-Rabrev industry.
  1. Noctic Vampirism plays a central role in the Alperkin religion. Practitioners of this religion are known to seek out the disease, and to spread it to others once they acquire it.
Moderate (23.6%): Almost 24% of people who contract Noctic Vampirism are expected to eventually die from the condition.

Active and Passive Mask Amnesiac Syndrome Active Mask Amnesiac Syndrome is a condition which afflicts individuals who have had their identities altered through the magical process of mask changing, which renders them more or less unable to recall their identities prior to transformation. Passive Mask Amnesiac Syndrome is a condition which renders individuals generally unable to recall their specific interactions with practitioners of face-changing magic. 38.86 PSSC
  1. Amnesia
  2. Cognitive Dissonance
  3. Anxiety
  4. Psychosis
  1. Direct or Indirect exposure to Mask Changing magic
TBA Strait of Haifa
  1. A widespread outbreak of Passive Amnesiac Syndrome was documented in the Haifo-Pallisican Imperial Trade Union following the ascension of Díapaza Bréidle to the position of Crown of Passio-Corum.
