In the following year's qualifiers, the team once again finished with eight points, and placed third in their five-team group.
The 2016 Copa Apollonia qualification rounds saw the team improve and finish second in their five-team group with 13 points, advancing them to the play-offs where they beat Toketi courtesy of away goals to reach the finals.
