Albrecht von Vere

Albrecht von Vere (1690 AN — ), a Benacian officer and politician who fought mainly in the Guttuli during the Shiro-Benacian War. Vere was a Legate and magister of the Benacian Union Defence Force leading Benacian and Ransenari troops in 1738 AN, a position he retained during fifteen campaigns fighting the Shirerithians, with almost unbroken success, a rarity during that benighted conflict.

There is some irony in the fact that due to the fame from his exploits and for actions done to safeguard the Viscounty of Lumenetra, he was made a Knight of the Order of the Imperial State of Constancia by express recommendation of the second Viscountess of Lumenetra, a Shirerithian subject, who also happened to be Autokráteira.
