The Brightworks Mistra F-13 Kitas (Sanaman for claw, talon) is a 4.5 generation twin-engine multirole fighter jet, developed by Sanaman defence company Brightworks Mistra. It is an updated design, featuring modern avionics, electronics and electronic warfare suite. The aircraft has a modular design, where systems and parts can be updated independently of each other. It is built to support the F-19 as an affordable platform that can deploy a large volume of weaponry, but can also form the core of a conventional air force. It features certain radar cross section reducing measures, such as S-formed air intakes, flush rivets and fasteners, sealed panel gaps, smooth canopy joins, radar-absorbent materials on strong return hotspots, pylons parallel to airflow, some composite structures, low-RCS drop tanks and a gold tinted canopy. These are not stealth features, they are conventional RCS reducing measures.
