Pretaling Daya City is a football club from Pretaling Daya, Mataba.

History

Dauian-Mataba Society Soccer Club

DMSSC started as a social project of a group of 5 close friends which branched out to Dauian people living in Mataba. The club originally was a 5-a-side futsal side which consisted of 15 players at the time of its founding. The club would slowly grow to 30 regular players and slowly started to form their own 11-a-side squad for friendlies and non-league games in the region. DMSSC slowly rose to fame after the founder, Rubert Jarkazwzcek was interviewed and he revealed some of his plans to bring the club further up the Matabese footballing pyramid and maybe apply for a Dauian license soon.

The club would play in the Dauian-Mataba University Pitch as it was the turf where the club was initially founded as a small friends only club.

Dauian-Mataba would soon apply for a Dauian C license but failed to obtain as the club lacked the funding to be promoted to a Dauian division and didn't have a proper home ground. Funding was put into the club and the club soon bought down a public turf which they renamed to the MSBC Stadium. The stadium could hold 1,500 spectators at max.

DMSSC would finally be accepted and started competing in the lower leagues until they were forced to be deregistered due to finanical troubles within the club.
