The Javelin M-2 Dragoon is a medium altitude long endurance (MALE) unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) designed and built by Javelin Industries. It was designed to meet needs for the Federal Forces of Nouvelle Alexandrie for a long endurance turboprop powered surveillance UAV; a requirement that was identified during long-range missions in the Euran Green against guerrilla groups and the smuggling networks of organised crime syndicates. It is suited for border surveillance, maritime patrol, search and rescue operations, disaster response, and weather reconnaissance missions. The Dragoon is also capable of hunter-killer operations with its ability to carry missile and guided bombs in permissive airspace in support of counter-insurgency or low-intensity operations.
Five prototypes were assembled around an ground based operations room assigned to the West Baatharz Banner Air Group for Operation Paramount in 1698 AN.
