Polten of Yperpen was a Storish non-Vanic nobleman, who was also active in Hurmu. Elected to the Order of the Holy Lakes in 1525, after having represented Chloe Davis (a member of the Order) as her proxy at the first Senate of the Lakes. In 1558, he resigned his membership in the Order, becoming the first member of the Order to do so, and the only one to do so until 1698.
