Founded in 1597 AN as the Red Bear Industrial Military Manufacturing Company, a state-owned armaments conglomerate that became a cornerstone of the industrialisation process of Mishalan during the protracted period of communist rule and which, as the Red Bear LLC, would become in turn an integral part of the massive rearmament programme undertaken by Shireroth during the Sxiro-Jingdaoese Confrontation. The attempt IN 1650/1651 AN by the Vanic rulers of Elwynn to annex Mishalan, in accordance with the treaties that had established Mishalan's dominion status within the Imperial Republic, was perceived as a threat to the industrial assets and capital of the Red Bear LLC, which was faced by the prospect of liquidation and incorporation into the Vanic royal conglomerate SEKEF (Sameinaða Erlendur Kaupsýsla Einokun Félagið), and thereby to the integrated supply chain of the Imperial Forces, was one of the factors that fed into the Auspicious Occasion.

Following the Kalirion Fracture the importance of the Red Bear LLC works was underscored by the drive of the Black Legions to grab the greater part of Mishalan from Shireroth and to fend off Elwynnese and Amokolian incursions. With the capture of the manufacturies and associated industrial infrastructure in 1672 AN, the former assets of the Red Bear LLC were reorganised into the Mishalan Arsenal Group.
