The Zeeburg national football team is the football team which currently represents the Jingdaoese protectorate of Zeeburg, and previously represented the Batavian protectorate and independent nation of the same name. It is a member of the WMFA.
History
Zeeburg applied successfully to join the FMF after the protectorate was founded by Batavia in 2012. Soon afterwards, Zeeburg organised and competed in the inaugural Zeeburg Tournaments, where they finished fourth on goal difference with ten points. Later in the year, the team also competed in the first Senyan School International Tournament, which they won with twelve points. Soon afterwards, Zeeburg seceded from Batavia.
In early 2013, the team competed in the second edition of the Four Nations Internationals, finishing in fourth place with four points. Zeeburg was annexed by Jingdao later in the year. After successfully bidding to host the second Benacia Cup, Zeeburg's team finished bottom of their first qualifying group with two points to their name. Soon afterwards, Zeeburg once again became a protectorate of Batavia following Batavia regaining independence from Jingdao. In the Benacia Cup later in the year, the team lost all four of their matches, scoring in only their final game, to finish bottom of the five-team group.
In early 2014, prior to the start of the year's qualifiers, Zeeburg was again annexed by Jingdao.
