Barrow Island (Hurmu Norse: Bergjaoy), known also as just Barrow, is an island in the Warring Islands, located east of Great Warring Island and west of Antonia Island. Politically, Barrow Island is part of Hurmu's district of the Warring Islands. It has four municipalities: Port Esther, Friborn, Saqvik, and West Barrow Island.
Prior to 1699, it was a divided island with East Barrow Island being a district of Hurmu, and West Barrow Island under the sovereignty of Nova England until 1698 (and considered in the Green until 1699).
