The investiture of Tarjei Thorgilsson as King of Normark commenced with a series of secular and religious ceremonies held on 8.XV.1703 AN, that would see Tarjei give solemn oaths to uphold the terms of the Amicable Grant, to defend Normark from its foreign and domestic enemies, and to maintain the Human Supremacy over Micras within his realm. He also pledged to defend the law and the proper regulation of democracy. Over the course of eight subsequent days he would receive the mantle of kingship, the title of Lawgiver, the rank and dignity of Archon of the Einhornselskapet, and formal command of the Nordhær as Överbefälhavaren.

Each of the eight days commenced with a sacrifice, and concluded with a feast, with each day proving a grander affair until the last, culminating on the eighth day with the Ordeal upon the Rock after which his right as King would be undisputed for so long as he should live.
