The Zandt League, is the top-tier football league in Zandarijn, run by the KZVB. The league involves eight teams, each playing 14 games, totalling 56 games, a season. The season begins in September and ends in December, with all games being played on Saturdays.
History
The Zandt League was founded in mid-August 2007 and the first season kicked-off in September 2007.
An overdue second season began in late 2010, with an additional two sides, both of which are based in the nearby territory of Hammish Monovia. During this season, the amount of fixtures each team plays was doubled, with four fixtures played between teams per season; two home and two away. However, due to a lack of development, the league returned to a two-fixture schedule for the following season, with two further teams joining.
