The Greater Jing School is a historiographical school that gained prominence during the early days of the reign of the Chidao Emperor. It offers a wide-ranging revision of the history of what is these days part of the Apollonian-based territoties of Jingdao. It's primary goals are to Jingdaoify the cultural past and historical views upon the days, habits and rulers before the ascension of the Haigui Emperor to the Heavenly Throne, and her usurpation of imperial rule in Xiacheng from the Fudan Emperor.

Basics

The Greater Jing School refers to the Apollonian lands as Jingdaoese, and separates the history of the Jing people predating their reign over Apollonia from the history of the country Jingdao. It roughly divides the Jindaoese history in a few dynasties:

  1. The Empire of the Glorious Sun (1462bAN - 351bAN) a mythical realm preceding the Empire of the Pure Path (Jingdao). Rival of the Empire of Khaz Modan (1211bAN – 0bAN).
  2. Empire of the Pure Path (Jingdao) (351bAN - present)
    1. The Zuxiang Dynasty (351 bAN - 264): the unification of large parts of the Empire under the reign of kings and emperors from Xiacheng.
    2. The Wangzi Dynasty (265 - 987): the reign of princes led to an erosion in power and eventually the collapse of unity in western Apollonia.
    3. Youya Dynasty (987 - 1451): the 'elegant' (Airosamente) dynasty: the rulers of Xiacheng act as most powerful rulers in the region, but the Apollonian lands are - for most of this era - divides into independent nation states.
    4. Jierdai Dynasty (1451 - 1623): the Kildarian and Apollonian dynasty.
    5. the Great Jing Dynasty / Erasmii Dynasty (1623 - present)

As of 1680 AN, the School recognised that Jingdaoese history could be divided into six eras.
