It also operates an airship aerodrome, with scheduled airship cruises over the Lontinien area.
Scheduled destinations
- Vesüha (Hurmu Air Service)
- Kaupang (Hurmu Air Service)
- Hellistelli International Airport (ESB Logistics)
Security
The airport hosts a contingent from the Allied Mission in Eastern Apollonia, Hurmu & Lyrica, namely the New Alexandrian 73rd Anti-air Artillery Regiment. Two Silver Hammer surface-to-air missile systems have been installed long-term within the airport perimeter.
History
A Chosen Man of the Hurmu Constabulary was assigned to the airport to represent the interests of the state and to uphold the requirements of the law. The chosen man was instructed to remain in post until an Inspector is appointed. By all accounts he remained there until resigning shortly before the 1719–1720 Hurmu civil conflict.
Ghawlama International Airport served as the primary base location for the Ghawlama Expeditionary Force, a contribution to the international security and reconstruction effort in Hurmu made by the Union of Republics of Zeed.
