Wolfpine United is a Florian professional football team formed in 2018 located in the greater Northcliff metropolitan area of Wolfpine. They started competing in Super League Football from the 2021–22 season.
History
The club was established through a planned merger between two Greater Northcliff clubs, Wolfpine Impact and Eastcliff Dynamo. Both clubs were experiencing financial difficulties and were struggling in the lower divisions of Florian Football. Despite having substantial fan bases in the surrounding areas, they lacked the resources to challenge Northcliff United and Northcliff City, the two dominant teams in the city. Given the uncertain futures of both clubs due to financial constraints, they mutually agreed to merge should either club be relegated at the conclusion of the 2018-19 season. This scenario ultimately transpired, with Eastcliff finishing bottom and Impact placing 17th. Upon formalising the merger, both clubs announced their intention to complete their final seasons as independent entities for the 2019-20 campaign. However, this strategy proved unsuccessful, as both clubs ended up in the relegation zone and were relegated to Florian League One. The merger officially took effect for the 2020-21 season, and the new club applied for Super League Football for the 2021 season. This application was approved, and the club commenced league play against their natural and traditional rivals, Northcliff United, in their inaugural match. Although the team lost 3-1, the match was a sellout, demonstrating that two former rivals could unite and achieve success.

Stadium
Wolfpine United's home ground is Northcliff Road which has a capacity of 36,000. Its stadium design was inspired by the Jämtfall Stadión, the home ground of Sverige Tiem FC and has a similar main stand.
Supporters
Wolfpine is notable for its loyal and passionate fanbase despite having poor results under the Impact and Dynamo names. Wolves fans regularly sing "Marching on Together", composed after the merger of the clubs as a sign of unity going forward into the future.
Wolfpine is located near the railway tracks in Northcliff which connects the city to the rest of the country and therefore the club's hooligan firm is called the "Wolfpine Railway Crew". They are notorious in Floria for violence on away days and have led to the banning of Wolfpine fans at some SLF away games.
