Turkish Sector

The Turkish sector (Thraci: Türk sektörü), also known as Turkish scene (Thraci: Türk sahnesi), or more commonly known as Micras Turkish sector (Thraci: Mikras Türk sahnesi), is the name given to Turkish users in Micras, their nations and anything they do. Although the Turkish sector has not been the most numerous on Micras, it can be considered to have achieved a notable influence on the community. The Turkish sector gained momentum primarily in the late 2010s and early 2020s.

The first development in the Turkish sector started with Birgeshir. Although its founder Deniz Yürük is an Italian citizen, his nation has always been mainly influenced by Turkish culture and he continues to be an important name in terms of Turkish sector. Birgeshir inspired other members and made a great contribution to Micran sports. The sector gained great momentum with the arrival of Hasan Çakar, Alperen and Samet (although he was not active, he was in the background of Sanpanese project) in the late 2010s. Although Hasan's Hasanistan, which was part of Krasnocoria, had limited influence, Alperen's multiple Thraci-ethnic nations made a notable impact on the claimsmap for a prolonged time. The sector can be considered at its peak in 2021 with the arrival of Jason of Akhidia.

However, the number of Turks involved in Micras suddenly collapsed in 2022. Hasan's contributions reduced considerably after Krasnocoria was wound-up, Jason was banned from the Micras Discord server for homophobia, and the Turkish sector was almost finished with the collapse of the Thraci Confederation. Alperen's subsequent death deeply shook the Micran community and Samet refused to continue the Sanpanese legacy for a while. Samet's return in early 2024 saw a solo but enthusiastic comeback.
