Subdivisions of Caputia
The subdivisions of the Kingdom of the Union of Caputia comprised its states, the Royal District of Zalae for the capital, and two Crown dependencies. At its foundation the kingdom was divided into ten states together with the Royal District. In 1661 AN the state of Neo Patrova was dissolved and the state of Morovian-Patrovia erected in its place, in the lands around Lake Morovia, under the Neo Patrova & Monovia Resettlement Act, 1661; in 1663 AN the State of San Pedro was admitted. By the general election of 1665 AN the kingdom comprised eleven states and the Royal District of Zalae, contested for a Parliament of 422 seats until the kingdom's dissolution in the late 1660s AN.
The states were the principal administrative districts of the country, each divided into municipalities and independent cities. Together with the Royal District of Zalae they returned their own Members of Parliament, while the two dependencies were combined into a single multi-member Dependencies' Electoral District. Parliamentary districts were apportioned among the states following a population census, and each state then drew single-member districts to conform with the apportionment.

The states and the Royal District as constituted at the kingdom's foundation are set out below, with populations recorded at the census of 1657 AN. Neo Patrova was later dissolved and Morovian-Patrovia erected in 1661 AN, and San Pedro admitted in 1663 AN; those two later states are listed separately beneath.

Dependencies
Caputia had sovereignty over two unincorporated territories that did not form part of Caputia itself: Elizabeth Isle, located in Eura; and Santa Melusina, a portion of the island of Anterra in the Corprian Archipelago. Both territories were ceded by Passio-Corum to then-Hamland as part of the land exchange under the Treaty of Bel-Air, which settled the Passasian Question.

Both dependencies were Crown dependencies, possessions of the Crown itself, as opposed to overseas territories or states such as Monovia and Neo Patrova.
