Stelecom, fully known as the Sanpanese Telecommunications Company, is a telephone operator based in Sanpantul. It is Sanpantul's largest telecommunications company and is considered the best operator in West Keltia.
Stelecom's founding dates back to 1674 AN. Initially established as Royal Telecommunications the company provided uninterrupted service until 1692 AN. Events such as the collapse of Sanpantul and the reign of Batavian domination negatively impacted the quality of telecommunications in the region. In later years, it provided direct support to the Spider Fleet during the Sanpo-Çakar War. Consequently, the company was heavily boycotted. During the Recession of 1737, the government privatized half of the company to further liberalize it. Currently, 49% of the company is owned by the government, while the remaining 51% is owned by a number of investors, most notably the BHC Group.
