Ryan Saunders, Jr.

Ryan Saunders, Jr., born 1703, is the eldest son of Ryan Saunders and Sophia Hendriksson. Quadruple-national of Shireroth, Nouvelle Alexandrie, Constancia and the Order of the Holy Lakes (Hurmu), the first three due to his parentage and the last one due to his marriage. Maternal grandfather, Bjørn Hendriksson. Maternal great-grandfather, the esteemed Garvin Hendriksson.

Enlisted as an ordinary Sarbaz on his 18th birthday in 1721, assigned to his mother's military household as aide-de-camp.

Attended Euran University, Nivardom campus, graduating with a degree in 1724, surprisingly, in applied mathematics in finance. Commissioned Anthypolochagos (2nd Lieutenant) and retained designation as aide-de-camp to the commanding general of the 510th (Shahzamin) Army. Thereafter employed in the Shahzamin government, initially in his mother's office as Governor. Appointed Chancellor to the Council of Shahzamin on his 22nd birthday in 1725. Promoted to Ypolochagos (1st Lieutenant) in 1727, given command of a kentarchia (troop) of his mother's military household staff. Promoted to Lochagos (Captain) in 1731, with an expanded moira (squadron)-sized command of his mother's military household, including a security kentarchia. Promoted to Tagmatarchis (Major) in 1736 and made a general staff officer as adjutant. Appointed Sarhang (Colonel) in 1745.
