The Regional Governor of Santander is the chief executive of the Region of Santander within the Federation of Nouvelle Alexandrie. The Governor is responsible for the administration of regional government, implementation of laws passed by the Cortes Regionales de Santander, and representation of Santanderian interests within the federal system. The office was established upon Santander's admission to the Federation in 1686 AN. The Governor is elected by popular vote to a five-year term and may seek re-election. With over 42 million inhabitants, Santander is the third most populous Region in the Federation.

The current Regional Governor is Roberto Mendoza of the Federal Humanist Party. A political newcomer running on a platform of bringing private sector efficiency to regional government, Mendoza won his first political office in the 1749 gubernatorial election with 54.62% of the vote, defeating Federal Consensus Party candidate Isabella Flores in a landslide victory.
