The Organization of Cibolan Unity (OCU) is a fringe political group operating out of Geneva, Natopia, with a focus on advocating for Natopian territorial and cultural expansion into the continent of Cibola. Their ultimate goal is to resurrect the historical Empire of the Alexandrians, complete with restoring a the Titular Emperor of the Alexandrians and the House of Carrillo.

Origins and Ideology

The OCU was established amid the sociopolitical shifts during the division of the Natopian Empire, specifically within Western Natopia. Its members are composed of a unique blend of Alexandrian nationalists and activists across the political spectrum. The organization champions a revivalist agenda, aiming to recapture the perceived historical prominence and territory of the Alexandrian Empire under Natopian sovereignty.

Activities and Presence

Since its inception, the OCU has operated discreetly, primarily communicating through a post office box in Geneva to coordinate its activities. Despite its minor status, the organization has been outspoken about its expansive vision, employing a variety of tactics to promote its cause:

  • Organizing symposiums and public lectures on Alexandrian-Natopian history;
  • Conducting grassroots campaigns and demonstrations;
  • Publishing materials that advocate for Cibolan unity under Natopian leadership.

The OCU has also attempted to insert itself into the political conversation by engaging with lawmakers, albeit with little success due to its controversial stances.

Public Image

The Organization of Cibolan Unity is regarded by the majority of Natopians as idealistic and peripheral, with goals viewed as nostalgic rather than realistic. The OCU's rhetoric and activities have, however, ignited debate on Natopia's role in Cibola and the legitimacy of historical territorial claims.

Political Engagement

The OCU has struggled to find a foothold in mainstream politics, often seen as too radical in its objectives. Its attempts to lobby government officials and influence policy have largely been met with resistance or indifference.

As of 1730 AN, the OCU persists in its campaign, continually seeking novel approaches to gain recognition and support. The organization is broadening its international outreach, aiming to connect with similar movements abroad to build a coalition advocating for the restoration of the Alexandrian Empire. The OCU leadership remains hopeful that its efforts will eventually lead to a shift in Natopian foreign policy that aligns with their aims.
