Nathanoskialshiwula-Cha "N-Cha" M'Lemana (born 2001), is a Krasno professional footballer who plays as a defender for CrFA League 1 club, Xäiville Teflons FC, and the Krasnovlac national team. Primarily a center back, M'Lemana has occasionally played in the full back positions when required to. Despite having sub-par seasons with Yakislavia High School in his four years of education, M'Lemana signed a professional contract with Noksvuola City after showing glimpse of ability.

Early life

M'Lemana was born in Noksvuola and had no footballing relations in his family. Originally a basketball player, M'Lemana was invited to play football with his friends in primary school after showing similarities to former footballers who play in defence such as aerial ability, physicality, and game reading though he still barely showed any interest in football.

When M'Lemana joined Yakislavia High School, he originally wanted to join the basketball team but was roped into football by his friends. Displaying great reading of the game in defence, he was eventually pushed into a defensive role. Despite M'Lemana standing out in the heart of defence for his school, Yakislavia High School were unable to qualify for the Krasnovlac Secondary Schools finals.

Club career

Following his graduation, M'Lemana was approached by Noksvuola City to play in a trial match during pre-season. Disillusioned by the fact that it was nearly too late for him to pursue basketball, M'Lemana accepted the offer and played for the Yan against Chalmine Town from the fourth division in Krasnovlac football. Impressed with his performance during training and the game, M'Lemana was given a three year contract.

Gaining experience by playing for the second team in the fourth division, M'Lemana was given his first start in the 2019-20 season. He didn't feature as much as most hoped as he suffered a groin injury but returned for the last few months. He scored his first brace in a 2-2 draw against Aeland Belaov FC, both were headed goals from a cross. M'Lemana played every game in the 2022-23 campaign. At the end of the season it was announced that he would transfer to Craitish side Xäiville Teflons FC.

Personal life

M'Lemana's name, Nathanoskialshiwula-Cha, is derived from a Krasno story about a man named Nathan who used his wisdom for impure desires. His name directly translates to Nathan's wisdom is nothing but a privilege, M'Lemana confirming that his parents named him after the story for him to remain humble regardless of his successes.

M'Lemana has been the subject of controversy in Krasnovlac after admitting he did not see the national team as anything but a job. He was under criticism citing that if he wasn't happy about playing for the national team, he should retire from it instead and let other passionate players play for the country. M'Lemana shot back, saying that the Krasno way of thinking around sports is backwards, claiming that if the team was full of passion and not professionalism, the national team would be nowhere near the standard it is now. His comments warranted crowds booing him during league games but the Noksvuola fanbase were on his side.
