Mukarram Zubeir is a Hurmu former politician from the emirate (formerly district) of Al-Khadra. He was elected to the Assembly of Representatives in the 1718 elections for the Social and Democratic Party of Hurmu, and was named Minister of International Trade on 1.I.1719 in the cabinet of Annika Raudsepp. Later the same year, he accompanied Li Naomiai and Mondo Etzeterra on a state visit to Sankt Ludwigshafen in what became a small but short truce in the ongoing Assembly–Senate political conflict in Hurmu.
Captured during the end of the 1719–1720 Hurmu civil conflict. Charged with and found guilty of sedition for overseeing the Sanaman arms deal in 1719. Underwent social harmonization therapy in Al-Khadra 1720–1723 during which he trained as a plumber. Since his release, he runs his own plumbing business and employs 4 other people.
