Matthieu Jean-Paul Blanchard, 2nd Baron of Montferrière (born 12.IV.1698 AN) is a New Alexandrian diplomat and nobleman currently serving as the Ambassador of Nouvelle Alexandrie to Vegno. Born into the minor noble House of Blanchard in South Lyrica, he inherited the title of Baron of Montferrière upon his father's death in 1725 AN. A career diplomat educated at the University of Lausanne and the Diplomatic Academy of Nouvelle Alexandrie, Blanchard has earned recognition for modernizing diplomatic training protocols and playing a crucial role in strengthening economic ties between Nouvelle Alexandrie and its Raspur Pact allies. Appointed as Ambassador to Vegno in 1736 AN by President Marissa Santini, he has been instrumental in deepening bilateral relations between the two nations, particularly in areas of cultural exchange and technological cooperation. He resides in Cossa with his wife Isabella, a prominent art historian, and maintains the family estate in Lausanne, South Lyrica.
