Lungo's Icebox

Lungo's Icebox is a derisive term coined by former Chancellor Emmanuel Aristarchus to describe the Elijahn Restoration, the 1752 AN territorial claim and settlement initiative launched by the Lungo III administration in southwestern former Normark. Aristarchus, speaking to reporters outside his Klaasiya residence, dismissed the initiative as a "frozen money pit" that would drain the Treasury for generations. The term references both Chancellor Marco Lungo III's name and the arctic climate of the claimed territory. Critics of the Restoration adopted the phrase, while supporters dismissed it as bitter rhetoric from a discredited former leader.
