Luca Zarrella, commonly known as only Lo Zar, is an Italian micronationalist who has been in the micronational community of Micras since March 2022, when he created, alongside Antonio Visciglia and Michelangelo Levati, the micronation of Vegno. He also holds the presidency of the MFM since May 2022, when he created it.

Biography

Luca Zarrella was born on 17 August 1995 in Castrovillari, a small town in the province of Cosenza, in the region of Calabria, in Italy. He lived near there, in Calabria, for 5 years, leaving then to go to the big city of Milan, in Lombardy, where he started his real life.

He completed the secondary school in 2014, earning the Diploma of Liceo Classico at the Liceo Alexis Carrel, in Milan and immediately applyed, with success, for University and went to study Medicine at the Ospedale Luigi Sacco, in the Vialba quarter of Milan, under the management of the Università degli Studi di Milano, and is currently on it.

Football played a very important part in Luca's life. he started playing from school age, in the position of goalkeeper on a casual level. He then started playing for ASD Arca amateur club in 2011 in the youth sector categories. In 2014 he then moved to Real Milano, to play a year in the second Lombard category, only to quit the following year.

In 2018 he then embarked on a career, always linked to the world of football, but in a different way: the Referee. In fact, in that year he obtained the official Italian qualification of Referee, being still registered with the Italian Referees Association (AIA), at the Milan Section, one of the largest and most important in all of Italy.

Beach Soccer

In the meantime he carries out his football career, he cultivates a passion for beach soccer, practicing it especially during the summer season.

he is in fact one of the founders of the Isgullalà amateur team with other friends, to participate in the Sybaris Cup tournament, one of the most important amateur tournaments on the sand of the Ionian coast.

His adventure in this annual tournament begins in 2010 and continues to this days, having collected, again with the Isgullalà team, two second places and a tournament victory in summer 2020.

His adventure with the Isgullalà ends the following year, having participated for the first time as reigning champion, and is still without a contract, having to find accommodation for the 2022 edition.
