Aemilia–Order of the Holy Lakes relations
Relations between the Confoederatio Aemilia and the Order of the Holy Lakes were established in 1728 through the accession of the Confoederatio Aemilia to the Xäiville Convention. Following the 1751 military coup in the Confoederatio Aemilia, Aemilia was reorganized as the Lanzerwald Republic. In 1758, the name of the country reverted to Aemilia. The Treaty between the Lanzerwald Republic and the Order of the Holy Lakes signed in 1752.
There used to be an Aemilian chapter of the Order of the Holy Lakes. It was closed in 1753 when the Lanzerwald Republic banned dual nationality. This affected a dozen or so dual Hurmu–Lanzerwald members of the Order of the Holy Lakes. In the same year, the Lanzerwald Republic expelled Vladimir Maksimilianov-Shvinnskiy, the Order's consul in Stadt Taktwinkel due to Maksimilianov-Shvinnskiy's association with the Imperial Constancian Armed Forces and the ESB-Jörmungandr Group, Inc. Prior to that, several members of the former leadership of the former Aemilia were members of the Order of the Holy Lakes.
