King Jeremy Point

The Hurmu Peace Corps Base King Jeremy Point (for short HPC King Jeremy Point or just King Jeremy Point) was a base of Hurmu's Peace Corps located on the island of Sussax in the District of Northern Bretland, constituting the northern tip of the Brettish/Britannic/Madison Isles. The base was established in 1699 following the collapse of the Nova England state, and named after King Jeremy of New Brittania, one of the earliest Knights of the Holy Lakes.

It housed the island of Sussax's only airport too, with the code HUKJ.

Manned by an HPC detachment from the District of the Warring Islands, the deployment was never a popular one with the forty personnel stationed there for extended six month tours, particularly during the long dark of the Boreal winter.

As news of the cession of Northern Bretland to Batavia spread, the forty-man HPC garrison convened in the officer's mess on the night of 14.VI.1702 to consume the contents of the spirits bottles held behind the bar there. By midday the next day, the revellers had managed to torch the mess huts, the hanger for visiting aircraft, and the control tower for the airfield.
