Agreement of Betrothal

between

Our Lord the Radiant Sun, Ayreon the Sixth, Kaiser of Shireroth, etc. (the prospective groom) through the Imperial Advisory Council acting in loco parentis

and

Lady Jalila Rafi bint Alsalam of Vidarstadt (the prospective bride), daughter of His Illustriousness Rafi Hakimi bin Alsalam, Duke of Vidarstadt, Regent of the Imperial Republic, and Her Illustriousness Shitala Darwish, Duchess of Vidarstadt.

Article I – Betrothal

The parties declare their intention to unite His Our Lord the Radiant Sun, Ayreon the Sixth, Kaiser of Shireroth and Lady Jalila Rafi bint Alsalam in marriage.

Article II – Conditions of Marriage

The marriage shall not take place before Lady Jalila has attained the age of eighteen years. The marriage shall be solemnised only upon the consent of both prospective spouses at the time of marriage.

Article III – Titles and Dignities

Upon the solemnisation of the marriage, Lady Jalila shall assume the title and dignity of Imperial Consort, together with the styles, honours and privileges attached thereto under Shirerithian law.

Article IV – Children of the Marriage

All children born of the marriage shall bear exclusively the surname or surnames of their father, the Kaiser, and shall not acquire the surnames of their mother or her parental house by virtue of their birth. All other matters relating to the status, rights and succession of the children shall be governed by the laws of Shireroth.

Article V – Concubines

The prospective bride and her parents acknowledge that the Kaiser may take and maintain concubines in accordance with the laws and traditions of Shireroth. The existence of such concubines shall not, in itself, constitute a violation of this agreement.

Article VI – Applicable Law

The marriage, once solemnised, shall be governed by the laws of Shireroth. All matters concerning the rights and obligations of the spouses, and the dissolution or annulment of the marriage, shall be determined in accordance with the applicable laws.

This agreement shall enter into force upon its execution by the respective parties and shall remain subject to the conditions stipulated in Article II.

Imperial Decree

In the presence of AYREON THE SIXTH by the Kharenah of Zurvan, Qaisar-e Sathratiye, the Imperial Advisory Council, who, by this Imperial Decree, gives unto his subjects and retainers, greetings, and unto the high and mighty gods of Shireroth, undying and unthinking obsequience.

On the Betrothal of Our Lord the Radiant Sun to Lady Jalila of Vidarstadt

The Imperial Advisory Council has been pleased to consent to the Kaiser's desire to plight his troth to Lady Jalila of Vidarstadt, so that they may form an equal union in marriage, in accordance with Imperial Decree №1180 and the Imperial Decree on the Order of Succession and the Imperial Family.

The marital union takes legal effect upon the receipt of the same in an Imperial Decree once the conditions of marriage have been met under the Agreement of Bethrothal of this day.

May Divine Providence see fit to grant unto them an honourable marriage and oneness of mind, and to preserve them from the afflictions of Our world.

Given at Raynor's Keep on the first day of the thirteenth month in the year after the death of Norton one thousand seven hundred and sixty-one.

• Ric retains control over Kaiser Ayreon VI
• Arky retains control over Lady Jalila
• At least 2 children will be born from this relationship, first a daughter, then a son.
  • The first child will be under the control of Arky, the second one by Ric, if a third one, then Arky, if a fourth one, then Ric, and so on.
• Any children of concubines will rank below children of Jalila in accordance with On the Order of Succession and the Imperial Family. This decree will not changed by either of Arky or Ric, without both men's consent, for the durations of their kaiserships.
• As such, the next kaiser after Ric (Kaiser Ayreon VI) will be Arky through the eldest daughter of Kaiser Ayreon VI and Lady Jalila.
