Imperial Decrees (Shireroth)/On the Order of Succession and the Imperial Family

AYREON THE FIFTH, Our Lord the Radiant Sun, by the Kharenah of Zurvan, Qaisar-e Sathratiye, by the eternal grace and radiance of Lumina's Celestial Light, Sovereign of the Golden Mango Throne, Protector against the Vengeance of the Almighty Mors and guided by the wisdom of the Enlightened Hasan, Steward of Sakat's Path, anointed by the divine intercessions of Providence, and Bearer of the Heavenly Mandate, unto his Most Noble Lords and Ladies, his subjects and retainers, greetings, and unto the High and Mighty Gods of Shireroth, undying and unthinking obsequience.

An Imperial Decree

On the Order of Succession and the Imperial Family

1. Order of Succession
   1. Upon Our death, abdication or removal, the throne passes to Our legitimate issue.
   2. If Our line is extinguished, the throne shall pass to the legitimate issue of Our Lord the Radiant Sun Vidar Salim Livarson Ayreon-Kalirion ibn al-Majeed al-Osman bin Sathrati of Waffel-Paine, Kaiser Ayreon V (blessings and peace upon his memory), Kaiser of Shireroth.
   3. If the line of Kaiser Ayreon IV is extinguished, the throne shall pass to the legitimate issue of Our Lady the Radiant Sun Noor as-Salaam bint Daniyal Umra Suleiman Ayreon-Kalirion ibn al-Majeed al-Osman bin Sathrati Umm Zahir al-Din of Waffel-Paine (blessings and peace upon her memory), Kaiseress of Shireroth.
   4. There shall always be preference over children (and their descendants) born in matrimony over children (and their descendants) born to concubines, and among each such group, preference over elder siblings and their descendants over younger siblings and their descendants.
   5. At all times the succession shall by-pass such persons that have abdicated or been removed from the throne and shall also by-pass such persons that by Imperial Decree shall be treated as if dead for purposes of the order of succession.
2. Imperial Family
   1. The Imperial Family consists of the Kaiser, his spouse, concubines, and any children he may have with his spouse, concubines or courtesans.
   2. The Imperial Family also consists of the Kaiser's Mother, his siblings, and his siblings' spouses and children.
   3. The Imperial Family also comprises the children of Our Lord the Radiant Sun Vidar Salim Livarson Ayreon-Kalirion ibn al-Majeed al-Osman bin Sathrati of Waffel-Paine, Kaiser Ayreon IV (blessings and peace upon his memory), Kaiser of Shireroth, and their children and spouses.
   4. Members of the Imperial Family are entitled Prince of Shireroth or Princess of Shireroth.
3. Necessity of Consent
   1. No person in the Order of the Succession or in the Imperial Family may contract a marriage, concubinage or adoption without the consent of the Kaiser. If it nonetheless occurs, it shall have the effect that such person, and any spouse or descendants thereof shall be forfeit from the Order of Succession, the Imperial Family, and any title or property in Shireroth, unless later legitimized by the Kaiser.
   2. Contracts of adoption into the Order of Succession or into the Imperial Family may only be performed on a citizen of the Imperial Republic who has demonstrated legitimate descent from Kaiser Raynor I, and with the consent of the Kaiser.
   3. Consent shall be indicated by way of an Imperial Decree, or an Imperial Decree in Council if it concerns the Kaiser.
4. Repeals

   This Decree supersedes Imperial Decree № 1086.
