Mohd Ipin bin Ogbuchu Jaslirani commonly known as Ipin is a Dauian professional football player who plays for Biulya äqi Jedu FC in the CrFA League 1.

He became the first ever ethnic-Phinbellan Dauian to every play overseas and receive a national callup.

Youth Career

Ipin would kickstart his youth career with Nokia Academy U12's and slowly move up to the U16 squad in just 2 years time. He was then be scouted by Daau City's youth system and would be quickly recruited to join them. During his early days with the citizens, Ipin was used as a center forward as he was tall and buff for his age group and sometimes an attacking midfielder. he mostly played with the Daau City Under-18's and was a member of the team which won the Daau Youth League in the 2018/19 season. Ipin's career as a forward didn't last long as he was recommended to try out playing as a center midfielder to help out the defence and drop back when needed, this plan worked like a charm for him as he slotted in perfectly into the defence due to his tall body shape.

He would cement himself into the center midfeld role during the 2019-2020 season with the Citizens which also saw him playing in the center back role.

Club Career

Daau City

Ipin signed with Daau City in the 2020-21 season. He would only make 8 appearances in his maiden season with the Citizens

Ipin would have his breakout season the following year, making a shock 21 appearances though all competitions during the season due to crucial midfielder Hamaz Al-Owais' long term injury during the season. Ipin would also score 4 goals on his superb run of form throughout the season. The stellar run of the young wonderkid would attract many clubs trying to ply him away from Daau City.

He would play his farewell match 3 days before his departure to BäJ, with Daau City defeating Seragaan Football Club on the way.

Biulya äqi Jedu FC

Ipin would make his first overseas career move ever to Biulya äqi Jedu FC in the CrFA League 1, signing for Cr 900k on a bargain deal.

International Career

Being born in Senya to a Dauian-Phinbellan parents, Ipin would choose to represent Daau as he accepted his first callup during the Daau Opening Tri-Nations Series where he played in all the games in the series. Ipin scored his first goal for Daau in the 2-1 defeat to Meckelnburgh through a clever chip over the goalkeeper. Ipin is also the most capped Dauian player with 9 appearances for the national team.

Playing style

Ipin was described as a "Versatile, strong, athletic forward" by his then Nokia Academy coach Artur Ibrahim as Ipin possesed an explosive sprint speed and a strong body. Ipin is known to be most effective in the sweeper role which sees him pushing up and down centrally on the pitch, clearing his lines and making sure nothing gets past him. For the past few seasons, he has slowly re-transformed himself back into a central midfielder rather than a center back due to advice from his senior coaches and teammates. Ipin is able to play in all central roles such as center forward, attacking midfielder, centre midfielder and center back. Ipin is also able to play right back as he was once used as a fullback during his academy days for a full season.

Personal Life

Born in Tiga in 2001, Ipin and his family would move to Daau in 2007 when he was 6. Ipin is the cousin of Fernandinho and is the brother of Jeff Jaslirani.
