Henri François du Meridian (4.X.1649 AN – 1.II.1729 AN), the first Count of Meridian, was a distinguished military advisor and diplomat who served under King Manco Capac I during the Great Restoration and the establishment of the 2nd Wechua Kingdom in 1673 AN. His strategic brilliance and diplomatic skills were pivotal in shaping the kingdom's future and in promoting the establishment of a federation between Alduria and the Wechua Nation through the Committee for Alduro-Wechu Integration.
Early Life
Born in 1632 AN in the city of Rimarima, Wechua Nation, Henri was introduced to the complexities of military tactics and political strategy at an early age. His father, François du Meridian, a lesser Alexandrian noble originally from Santander that emigrated to the Wechua Nation. His parents soon recognized his son’s sharp mind and ensured he received education that catered to his potential at the Imperial University of Alexandria in the city of Triegon, Natopia at great expense.
Military Career
Henri's military career began in his early twenties, quickly rising through the ranks due to his innovative approaches to warfare and leadership skills. By his mid-thirties, he was appointed as a senior military advisor to the royal court of Sapa Wechua Manco Capac I, where he played a crucial role in restructuring the kingdom's military forces during the Great Restoration and the recovery of the country after the Wechua Sorrow.
Count of Meridian
In recognition of his services, King Manco Capac I honored him with the title of Count of Meridian in 1675 AN, establishing the Du Meridian family as one of the leading noble houses charged with protecting the restored Wechua Nation.
Diplomatic Service
Following the the Great Restoration, Henri became Ambassador to the Republic of Alduria, a close Wechua ally in the continent of Eura. During his time serving as ambassador, he facilitated the integration of Alduria and the Wechua Nation, leading to the creation of Nouvelle Alexandrie.
Personal Life
Henri married Isabelle de La Roche in 1659 AN, with whom he had three children. Together, they were a formidable pair in both the court and social circles, known for their philanthropy and patronage of the arts.

Death
