Hendrik Van Hoevendaal was an Alriggian politician. He served as leader of the Labor Party of Alrig and representative to the Micras Socialist International. He was part of the tripartite investment approvals board of the Global Solutions Corporation, together with the leader of the Jingdaoese Nokarodo Faction, Tsukono Wei and Pekke Aloorion of the Elwynnese Workers' Party. Henk was one of the three candidates who wished to succeed Hieronim Erazm as President of Alrig in the 1680 Alriggian Presidential Election. Despite winning the first round, he lost the second round to Luo Dai. After the Jingdaoese annexation of Alrig in 1685, Hendrik Van Hoevendaal was tracked down and placed in a re-education camp where he was instructed in Jingbuist Absolutism and its benefits for the masses. He made good progress and was released in early 1686. After his release, he publicly denounced the work of the Micras Socialist International. He was given the position of janitor at an artisan noodles factory in Chaku, after that position was vacated by Elijah Pureon.
Hendrik Van Hoevendaal was one of the candidates to become deputy secretary general of the MTO in 1686.
