Gong Shipyards is a shipbuilding company, formerly owned by the Erlkönig but sold in 1679 to Sokoku Industries with shipyards and offices in Xiaogong. The company's best known product is the Gong Customs Corvette Class, which has been in production since 1619 but is based on improved designs from the South Batavian navy. A new best-seller is the Gong Customs Patrol Boat Class, which has been in production since 1673. When the company was founded the Maritime Apollonian Customs Service of the Apollonian Republic was its major customer, the successors, being the Tianchao Haijing of the Jingdaoese Empire remain loyal customers as of 1678. Starting in 1678, the Alriggian Republic became a customer with Gong Shipyards supplying the small environmentally minded nation with both the traditional diesel-powered corvette and smaller electric-powered vessels. Following the Partition of Alrig in 1731, most of the Alriggian coast guard which was stationed in Annahaven was transferred to the Confoederatio Aemilia, which also placed new orders for the Cibolan waters.
