Gisela Vendkamp (born 1704 AN) is a Natopian diplomat. She has served as the Permanent Representative of Natopia to the Micras Treaty Organization (MTO) since late 1753 AN, holding the Empire's seat in the organization's General Assembly.
Career
Vendkamp was born in Mehlville and entered the Imperial Civil Service as a foreign service officer. She spent most of her career in the Court of the Calm Waters, the department of the Imperial Court of Natopia that manages Natopian foreign relations and diplomatic missions under the Secretary for Foreign Affairs.
Permanent Representative to the Micras Treaty Organization
Vendkamp was appointed Permanent Representative in late 1753 AN, shortly after the MTO resumed regular operations and the General Assembly elected Túpac Mendoza of Nouvelle Alexandrie as Secretary-General. Natopia has belonged to the organization since its establishment in 1547 AN, when it operated under the name Small Commonwealth. The post carries Natopia's seat in the General Assembly, the MTO's main deliberative body, in which each member state is entitled to one representative. Empress Clara I made the appointment on the advice of Chancellor Marco Lungo III.
