The General Inspectorate, comprised of six regiments, is responsible for maintaining maintaining discipline, indoctrination, and training across the Benacian Union Defence Force. It forms an administrative and operational linkage between the inspectorate corps of the land, sea, and air forces of the BUDF, and the General Inspectorate of Benacia Command.

Organisation

Doctrine and Training Command

Doctrine and Training Command (DTC), is a formation of the BUDF headquartered at the Panopticon Citadel, Centrum District, Merensk. DTC is the organisation that is responsible for delivering inspectorate training and developing combined arms doctrine. Approximately 3,200 officers and soldiers are assigned to DTC. The organisation was stood up on 18.VII.1731 AN as part of the preparations for Endsieg. It further provides support to the planning and operations directorates of the General Staff Council.

Inspectorate of Training and Discipline

The Inspectorate of Training and Discipline (ITD) is responsible for the standardisation of basic indoctrination and training for all apprentices, volunteers, and officer candidates. Also headquartered at the Citadel in Merensk.

Force Training Regiments (FTR) subordinate to the ITD provide standardised training programmes for noncommissioned officers across the land, sea, and air operational domains.

Adjutant General's Regiment

The Adjutant-General's Regiment provides a variety of crucial administrative support and personnel management functions for the General Inspectorate and the wider BUDF, including personnel administration, training management, and support to operations.

Organisationally, the Adjutant-General's Regiment is composed of seven branches, each focusing on specific aspects of personnel and administrative support. These branches include:

  1. Adjutant General's Office (AGO): The core of the Adjutant-General's Regiment, the AGO exercises command and control oversight of the remaining six branches.
  2. Forces Personnel Centre (FPC): The FPC is responsible for the central administration of soldiers throughout their careers, including postings, promotions, and welfare support.
  3. Legal Services Branch: This branch provides legal support to the BUDF, including advice on operational law, discipline, and military justice.
  4. Provost Branch: Responsible for maintaining discipline and security within the BUDF, including military policing and investigations in coordination with land, maritime, and aviation inspectorates.
  5. Educational and Training Services (ETS): ETS delivers educational and training support for the training regiments of the General Inspectorate, ensuring they have the necessary skills and qualifications for their roles.
  6. Physical Training Corps (PTC): The PTC ensures soldiers are physically fit for their duties through training programmes and physical education. Monitors and disciplines physical training officers attached to Inspectorate regiments at the division and brigade level
  7. Force Welfare Service (FWS): FWS provides welfare support to soldiers and their families, offering a range of services to promote well-being and resilience.

The Adjutant-General's Regiment operates at both the strategic and operational levels, supporting the BUDF whilst in their cantonments and depots, and during operations. Its role is essential in maintaining the effectiveness and morale of the BUDF's personnel, ensuring they are properly supported to fulfil their duties.

The focus of the Recruitment Services Regiment is primarily upon those novices who arrive in the ranks through voluntary enlistment, as these provide the majority of those who will go on to populate the officer corps and the ranks of the Corps of the Black Legions.

Nonetheless, the land, maritime, and aviation inspectorates are obliged to model their training regimes, such as they offer to purchased apprentices in their brigade and division schools, upon the standards set at the Basic Training Establishment in Merensk.
