Fliegenschmutz Islands

The Fliegenschmutz Islands are a collection of fifteen small islands and atolls situated approximately 41 km southwest of the western tip of Naudia'Diva. As such the islands represent a continuation of the vast archipelago to the south of Benacia that begins with Neridia in the east and extends all the way to the Great Western Sea. In common with other small islands of the Great Western Sea it has normally been overlooked by the great powers, and has never featured on the maps prepared and maintained by the recognised cartographic societies of the world.

In 1721 AN, the islands became more widely known as they formally became part of the Benacian Union. In 1745 AN, the islands transferred to Çakaristan along with Naudia'Diva. And also became part of the Governorate of Naudia'Diva. A station, Station Fliegenschmutz, was built on one of the islands. This is the only visible marker on the Micras-wide maps.
