The Commission for the Integration of Normark (CIN) was established by an Elwynnese instrument of government on 04.I.1678, in anticipation of the 1678 Normark status referendum, with a purview to oversee the administrative, diplomatic, military, and political aspects of the expected transfer of sovereignty in Normark from Natopia to Elwynn. After the referendum result was in favour of the integration of Normark into Elwynn, the Commission received the mandate to hold the necessary negotiations for the transfer, including for the bilateral treaty between Natopia and Elwynn on the matter, which was agreed to and signed on 18.VI.1678.
