Antonin Vladimiroff
Antonin Alexeyevitch Vladimiroff (Антонин Алексеевич Владимиров; born 22.X.1617 AN, died 20.XIV.1695 AN) was an Elwynnese (Amokolian–Mishalanese) politician and former military officer. He is the leader of the Mishalanski Party for Democratic Socialism, Minister of War and President of the Committee of General Defence for the Republic of Elwynn and Amokolia.
Born in a village in Mudyy bailiwick, Mishalan, to a family of communists. The family was persecuted by the Vanic Elwynnese authorities, and Antonin's parents disappeared in 1630. Antonin was taken to a drunk uncle who beat him. In 1632, Mishalan was liberated from the Vanic Elwynnese yoke and brought under a government of the Communist Party of Mishalan. Antonin joined the Militia of Mishalan as a private as soon as it had formed.
In the years 1635–1638, he underwent officer's training in Concord, and was given a commission (O-1). By 1649, he had risen to O-6 in rank. During the Auspicious Occasion (1651), he was transferred to the Imperial Armed Forces to aid in the overthrow of the Vanic regime. He was then stationed in the Froyalan National Reservation as a civil–military liaison. It was here that he grew an interest in politics, and he studied his parents' ideology. While not completely agreeing with it, he still joined the now-reformed communist party, renamed the Mishalanski Party for Democratic Socialism (MPDS). In the 1656 elections to the Shirerithian Folksraad, he was elected a delegate for Mishalan and the MPDS. Reelected in 1660, he kept his seat in the Folksraad until 1665. In 1666, he was appointed by the Imperial Government as the most senior civil servant for the police authority in the City of Mishalan. He held this position throughout the Kalirion Fracture (1671), during which he ensured that the authorities of Mishalan would give its loyalty and cooperation only to the newly formed Elwynnese Republic.
He was elected leader of the MPDS in 1671.
As a democratic socialist, he was elected to the Elwynnese congress in 1672, 1675, 1678, 1680, and 1681. He was a candidate in the 1676 Elwynnese princely elections.
After the Amokolian Republic had been formed in 1683, he was a candidate for the 1683 Premier of the Amokolian Republic elections. He was not successful in that election, but secured enough support that, once elected to the Sænate of Amokolia, he became its Adeile and chairman. Thus he was ex officio the head of state of Amokolia. After the 1685 reunification of Amokolia, many communists from Mishalan moved northwards to escape the anti-communist pro-monarchical Ocian, "Mishalacian" government there. As head of state of Amokolia, Vladimiroff was instrumental in securing the assimilation of MPDS cadres into Amokolian society. Despite this, he was also elected a Mishalacian representative to the Council of Eliria, in an election that was considered a socialist revolt against the new Mishalacian elite. It was in his capacity as head of state that he steered Amokolia's support for joining the Republic of Elwynn and Amokolia, the break-away state in northern Elwynn, causing the Second Elwynnese Civil War. In the government of the new Republic, he was named Minister of War and President of the Committee of General Defence.
He is married to Yekaterina née Sverdlovska (born 1622), and has three children, Arkadiy (born 1650), Elena (born 1652), and Anna (born 1654). He has seven grand children.
Perished with the majority of the population of Glenfiddich during the Scouring (20.XIV.1695 AN) which saw the Second Elwynnese Civil War draw towards its conclusion following a limited nuclear exchange between the belligerents.
