The Andrino Redoubt is an extensive underground military fortification complex located throughout the demesne of Saint Andre in southern Apollonia. Constructed between 1688 AN and 1703 AN, it is designed to protect the strategically important demesne from invasion and ensure governmental continuity during wartime. The system combines underground bunkers, tunnel networks, concealed artillery positions, and infrastructure hardening across Saint Andre's territory, with particular concentration in the areas near the Shirerithian border and surrounding the capital city of Port St. Andre.
Inspired by both the Alexandrian military doctrine of "defense in depth" and the Natopian Defense Force's strategic emphasis on territorial integrity, the Andrino Redoubt serves as a cornerstone of Natopia's Apollonian defense strategy within the framework of the Raspur Pact. The complex remains actively maintained and has been continuously upgraded with modern defensive technologies, though much of its specific capabilities remain classified.
