The 1732 Malak Stadium massacre, was a terror attack carried out by suspected members of the Humanist Vanguard in the Immeritus pleasure district of Shirekeep. Although no statement claiming responsibility or providing a rationale for the attack was given, it was widely credited as being in response to the recently concluded Shirerithian invasion of Sathrati and ongoing political and ethnic repression perpetrated by the Jing ruling class in Greater Kildare.
The attack was seemingly closely coordinated with a sudden barrage of unguided rockets into the old city of Shirekeep from Cabbagefall, presumably with the intention of maximising confusion and delaying the arrival of first responders.
