The 1692 Palesmenian general election was the first election in Palesmenia after the 1684 Palesmenian military coup. It was ruled that only members of the Senior National Advisory Council could run. Originally, only Ánzina was going to run unopposed, until Finance Minister Mílos Hénás stepped in to challenge Máséko Ánzina. This move was very unpopular among the SNAC, since Hénás was a relatively new member, and Ánzina was seen as the right hand man to Cónsula Thíno Wúlatet. However, Wúlatet permitted Hénás to run, wishing to see who the people elected, and also fearing how the people might react if only one candidate was permitted.
