The Réunion national football team is the football team which represents the micronation of Réunion. It is a member of the AEFA.

History

The team was founded in early 2009 after Réunion's Micrasian claim was successful. The team was entered into the qualifiers for the 2009 FMF World Cup, where they finished bottom of their group on goal difference.

The team improved the following year, finishing fourth in their five-team group with seven points.

In 2011's qualifiers, the Réunians only managed to draw one match out of six as they finished bottom of their group.

The team again finished bottom of their five-team group in the 2012 qualifiers after drawing two matches.

In the 2013 qualification rounds, Réunion equalled their best showing, finishing fourth in their five-team group with seven points.

The team finished fifth in their six-team 2014 qualifying group with eight points to their name.

Réunion gained five points in the 2015 qualifiers, as they finished fourth in a five-team group.

The 2016 Copa Apollonia qualification rounds saw the team finish third in their five-team group with eleven points.

In the 2017 World Cup qualifiers, the team gained six points in their four-team group and finished third.

The team competed in the 2018 Copa Apollonia qualification rounds, where they finished fifth in their six-team group with nine points.

In the 2019 World Cup qualifiers, the team finished third in their five-team group with ten points.

In the following year's Copa Apollonia qualifiers, the team finished fourth in their six-team group with eleven points.

The team finished bottom of their five-team 2021 FMF World Cup qualification group with three points.

In the following year's Copa Apollonia qualifiers, the team finished third in their five-team group with eight points.
