Rashid Sanook
Rashid Sanook, born 1673 AN, was the Grand Vizier of the Suren Confederacy from late 1713 AN, following the resignation of Kalkul Sahib, until his dismissal in 1732 AN.
Early life
Career in the Honourable Company
Taken into the service of the Honourable Company in 1689 AN as one of the Honoured Sons following a razzia, Rashid Sanook worked as an analyst for the ESB Financial Services of Raspur between 1694 AN and 1698 AN. He then worked for the Euran Savings Bank, attaining the rank of Clerk of the Office by 1700 AN. Thereafter his career steadily advanced within the Directorate of Financial and Legal Services. By 1710 AN he had attained the rank of Observer and a posting to the Euran Securities and Bonds Acquisitions Service office in Mehrshahr, eventually becoming Resident therein.

Dismissed as Prime Minister in the fifth month of 1732 AN as he no-longer enjoyed the confidence of the Crown following the outbreak of the Surenid Civil War.
He was subsequently, discretely, obliged to depart to Aqabah in order to commence a period of exile. Resumed employment in the Directorate of Financial and Legal Services until appointment as resident in Liondari.
