Operation Purple Shroud was a reprisal campaign commenced in IX.1718 AN, against the leadership cadres of the Confederacy of the Dispossessed, as well as against their families and clan hierarchies, superseding previous efforts to capture the leadership figures associated with the assassination of the kings of Constancia and Nouvelle Alexandrie in the so-called 1718 cCondor shoot-down incident. The bodies of those leaders successfully run to ground and killed by the armed forces and security services of the Raspur Pact were to be presented to the mausoleum in Petropolis if found on Eura, or to the tomb of Manco Cápac if slain on Keltian soil, this being in line with the mandate provided by Felipe de Almagro, President of the Council of State.
