General Inspectorate of Apollonia Command

The General Inspectorate of Apollonia Command, formed on 6.IX.1707 AN, was established as a unit subordinate to the General Staff Council of Apollonia Command. Recruiting from amongst veterans and retired officers of the Black Legions and the Tegong, the General Inspectorate was established with the initial objective of overseeing the transition of the remnant of the Imperial Armed Forces of Jingdao from a unitary armed force geared towards war against the Raspur Pact to a collection of ducal auxiliary forces primarily tasked with territorial defence, aid to the civil power, and the support and reinforcement of the Imperial Forces of Shireroth in Greater Kildare. Additional objectives included the securing of critical industrial infrastructure, and the rendering of assistance to local authorities with regards to the suppression of whatever lingering revolutionary sentiment had not been adequately crushed by the Fortuitous Immolation carried out against the syndicalist leadership of the Democratic Apollonian Republic of Kildare.
