The Unified Power System of Benacia is a pan-continental synchronous electrical transmission grid established in 1678 AN by the Elwynnese Republic, the Republic of Inner Benacia, the Sovereign Confederation, and the Unified Governorates of Benacia. It has an installed generation capacity of 300 gigawatts and produces 1,200 terawatt-hours per year for its 134,987,811 customers. Provisions exist for the neighbouring states of Drak-Modan, Ransenar, Sanama, Shireroth, and Tellia to accede to the UPSB Agreement under the Integrated Power Grid Partnership. Drak-Modan, Ransenar and Sanama have signalled their interest in connecting to the UPSB.

The UPSB comprises of a three-phase electric power grid that operates at a synchronized utility frequency and is electrically tied together during normal system conditions. The UPSB allows for connections with non-integrated powergrids via high-voltage direct current power transmission lines, such as those recently disconnected between Elwynn and West Amokolia following the commencement of hostilities.

The UPSB was intended to include the pooling of electrical power generation, vital for the manufactories and arsenals of the Allied Production Matrix located in their territories, resulting in lower generation costs; pooling of load, resulting in significant equalizing effects; common provisioning of reserves, resulting in cheaper primary and secondary reserve power costs; opening of the market, resulting in possibility of long term contracts and short term power exchanges; and mutual assistance in the event of disturbances - such as natural disasters or war damage.
